    Elected officials offer help for vets

"Anytime people have trouble accessing the federal government, getting through the red tape, if you contact our office, we can help you," Webb said. "We can`t always fix your problems but we can get you information, let you know where things are in process, and sometimes if there is a difficulty there, we can fix that."

    House overwhelmingly passes Markey's bill to rescind transportation earmarks

    July 27, 2010 A bill to rescind hundreds of millions of dollars in unspent transportation earmarks won easy approval from the House today, giving Rep. Betsy Markey a legislative triumph. The House voted 394-23 in favor of the bill.
