DCCC Chairman Chris Van Hollen visits with Betsy

Betsy Markey was happy to host  Congressman and Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee Chairman Rep. Chris Van Hollen, D-Maryland,  at a press conference in Denver today.

"I'm here today to show that we in the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee and Democrats in Congress think Betsy is the right candidate for this seat....  Congresswoman Marilyn Musgrave is not in line with Colorado voters and people want a new direction in Washington, D.C." Van Hollen said.

Support from the DCCC is just one more sign of the momentum behind Betsy Markeys campaign and the promise she holds for positive change in Washington.

"I am going to work for all constituents in the 4th, not just Democrats," Markey said. "I have been talking with many Republicans in the district and am gaining a lot of support."

Congressman Van Hollen met with Betsy for several hours and spoke with some of her key supporters before returning to Washington, D.C.
